An Identifiability Analysis” turns to quantum interconnects. It asks whether quantities such as heralding rate and a single Bell-pair fidelity measurement contain enough information to determine whether a distributed circuit remains feasible.The final contribution\, “On the Limitations of Distributed Quantum Computing for Future Communication Networks\,” will be part of Friday’s Distributed Quantum Computing Systems and Infrastructure (DQC-SI) workshop. It considers the broader systems question of when distributing computation across multiple QPUs is actually useful once the constraints of the network are taken into account.
