On the occasion of International Quantum Day, QUARKS organised a special event to bring the world of quantum technologies closer to the public. The initiative took place at the Technische Universität Dresden and involved both students and employees of the university.
The day was divided into two parts: in the morning we enthusiastically welcomed a school from Bautzen, while in the afternoon it was the turn of university students and TUD staff.
In both cases, the event consisted of two parts. In the first, QUARKS researchers introduced the participants to the basic concepts of physics and quantum communication, making even the most complex aspects accessible through clear and engaging explanations.
Following this, everyone had the opportunity to visit the Quantum Edge Computing Lab, where theory gave way to practice: state-of-the-art tools, concrete projects and a privileged glimpse into what the future of technology will hold.
