In addition to visiting European Wireless, our STEM Education Managers, Jessica Gollmann and Vivian Hoffmann, represented QUARKS at the Thinknet 6G Summit in Nuremberg with two interactive demonstrations!

A special highlight was the session “Entangled Futures: Quantum Communication and 6G” which was moderated by Vivian Hoffmann.
Our panelists – Dr. Janis Nötzel, Dr. Marc Geitz, Prof. Dr. Kai Müller, Dr.-Ing. Dr.-Ing. Bassem Arar, and Jessica Gollmann – shared insights on the following topics:

  • Application prospects for quantum communication
  • Research on entanglement and its technical challenges
  • The importance of education and public outreach for quantum topics.

The subsequent panel discussion provided the speakers with another opportunity to engage in dialogue and share their perspectives on the role of quantum technologies in future 6G networks.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, participated in the discussions, and asked great questions over the last two days!
