At the Robotics Symposium and hub:disrupt, QUARKS made quantum technologies tangible for the public.

1. Day 1 – Interactive demos Visitors were able to explore our interactive demos: Quantum Random Number Generator: test the unpredictability of your inputs by comparing them with true quantum randomness. Quantum Communication Demo: discover how quantum principles ensure secure and reliable information exchange. 
2. Day 2 – Hands-on Workshop In the workshop led by Siddharth Das and Vivian Hoffmann, participants delved into the basic principles of randomness, which is fundamental to authentication and cryptography. Through playful and gamified experiments, we explored: How random numbers influence everyday life. What makes “good” randomness and why quantum mechanics is essential to achieve it.
