As part of the QUARKS project, a new mentoring program will start on September 25, 2025.

The idea of the program is to connect students in grades 10 – 12 and interested people from industry. Accompanied by scientists from TU Dresden and TU Munich, they can immerse themselves in the fascinating world of quantum communication and quantum computing.

From September 2025 to June 2026, there will be ten Thursday afternoon workshops, each with a different focus.

What participants can expect:

• Experimental research and learning
• Excursions to laboratories and companies
• Creative workshops on quantum communication

Aim of the project:

• Transferring knowledge about quantum communication to schools, industry and society
• Research into quantum computers and an on-campus 5G quantum network
