Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming a group of enthusiastic young adults to our lab as part of TU Dresden’s tryING orientation program for engineering studies. The visit provided participants with an exciting look at the diverse opportunities within engineering degree programs at TU Dresden, especially at the intersection of modern technology and quantum physics.

During the session, our team presented the QUARKS project and introduced various academic paths that integrate quantum physics and engineering. In addition, the participants gained insights into the innovative research being conducted at CeTI (Centre for Tactile Internet with Human-in-the-Loop).

The highlights of the day were the hands-on laboratory demonstrations:

• Quantum Randomness Demo: Participants had the opportunity to test our randomness demonstration and experience quantum principles firsthand.

• SPHERE Demonstration: At Evasive, they received a practical demonstration of our SPHERE setup.

Throughout the visit, the participants showed great curiosity, engaged actively, and asked numerous thoughtful questions about quantum technologies and studying at TU Dresden. We were delighted by their interest and look forward to seeing some of them return as future engineering students!
