The all about QUARKS team was represented this year at the international education conference INTED2026 in Valencia. Jessica Gollmann attended the conference on behalf of Vivian Hoffmann and the project, which is widely recognized as a global hub for the latest developments and innovations in education and educational development. This year’s event was particularly special, as INTED celebrated its 20th anniversary, bringing together educators, researchers, and practitioners from around the world.
In addition to participating in the conference, Jessica Gollmann took on an active role in the program. On Tuesday, she served as Session Chair for a session on Tutoring & Coaching, facilitating discussions and exchanges on strategies to support students and early-career researchers.
A key highlight for the QUARKS team was the presentation of the paper:
“Building Bridges to the Quantum Future: Early Results from a Mentoring Program for the Emerging Quantum Workforce” (Hoffmann et al., 2025).
The paper presents early findings from a mentoring initiative designed to support the next generation of quantum professionals and help prepare students and young researchers for future careers in the rapidly evolving field of quantum technologies.
Participating in INTED2026 provided an excellent opportunity to share our research with an international audience, exchange ideas with the global education community, and gain new insights into innovative approaches to training the future quantum workforce.
Together, we continue building bridges to the quantum future.
